Another shot from the beach at sunset .
I think the location was City Beach .
As I was walking along the beach the sunset turned an amazing red .
I had to run back up the beach to a log I had found earlier and use it for my point of intreset .
I really like the movment in the water of this shot .

Yep its multiple expoures , 3 shots (-2 , 0 , +2) ,
Tryed another method to get the high Dynamic range instead of a Photomatix HDR.
Put all the shots in photoshop as layers from the darkest at the bottom to the lightest on top changed there opactincy .Used a soft eraser in photoshop to erase the parts of the different layers I didnt want to show so the layers with different expousers.
Used USM sharpen to sharpen the log .Also did slight curves .
Used a soft eraser in photoshop to erase the parts of the different layers I didnt want to show so the layers with different expousers.
Did a little bit of dodging and burn on certain areas log and sea .
Also leveled the horizon
Also increased the sat and contrast .
Finally reduced the noise (mainly focused on the sky)
Then added the boarder .
Hope that helped , I think I would have got the same sort of result if I used photomatix pro to make a HDR instead of the layer in PS and it probally would have been quicker too , but was just trying new method from a magazine.
I'd like to show you some awesome nature related work from more or less unknown artists which deserve more attention - this is a must see, you won't regret it!!!
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
I'm a lover of visual impacts. I like brilliant colors and shapes. And I decided to collect a whole stack of deviations that reflect that taste. These pieces showcased below deserve every bit of publicity you can give them. x)P
