Found this old image as well was taken at lucky bay in the South West of Western Australia . One night decided to experiment with long exposures and flash fill .

A bit out of focus to the left, and right of the image, and the stars aren't all that visible like Drew said. But overall, good strong compo, with good use of fill light.

yeah I know was shoting at F2.8 and bit hard to focus in the dark .
Had more stars above but wasnt long enough exposure so croped this to a 3x1 ratio for beter composition .
Will have to try some next time Im away from the city as too much light polution here

Thank you , cant remember exactly as cant find the original raw file , but from memory were playing around with exposures from 5 mins to 20 mins . I think this one was at the low end around 8-10 mins

Hi mate ,
This was just a single shot cropped to a 3:1 ratio .
I cant find the original raw file as converted it to a TIF for editing so lost all the details
But from memory was experimenting with exposures up 2 mins to 15mins this shot was fairly low on the exposure time as there isn't much star movement . Shot around F4 and I thin an ISO around 400 - 800 .
