We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Nar dont use photomatix any more , use to but find it degrads the image quality .
Just work in RAW now with different layers to edit (curves , levels etc) for different parts of the pic I want .
Slower processes and the some of the image files end up being really big but the quality is lot beter
